The Green Team go green!

The Green Team lived up to their colour today by selling snacks on the playground that were green! Cakes with green icing, green Kit Kats….anythng that had green in it. There might have even been a green caterpillar mixed in!!

Miss Newham and Mrs Ottley and all they members of the Green Team did a great job to help raise funds for buying new water saving taps for school.

Don’t throw away your unwanted things!

Have a look at the website: www.freecycle.org It’s like ebay but you don’t exchange money.  This will help in our philosphy of reduce, reuse and recycle. If you have unwated ‘things’ then register - it’s worth a look and you’re helping the environment!!!!  Let us know how you get on!

National Energy Day

Tomorrow, ‘Wednesday 27th February’ the schools in Sefton have been invited to work together to cut down on electricity for one day.  We will be looking at the national grid - hoping that we have made a difference by reducing our carbon footprint.  If your interested join in and have a look at the website:

The Green Team are back!!!!

We just wanted to let you know that we have made some changes..

You will now find a suggestion box on the Green Team table in the hall. 

Also we are starting to monitor the lights around the school.  If we see lights on, in a classroom and their is nobody in it… a reminder message will be left.

We’re looking for some new recruits…

Hello we’re back for another year and I’m looking for some new recruits from Year 6 to come and join the Green Team.  All those interested should meet in the Millenium room at Thursday Lunch at 12.00 (or whenever Miss Gibson has finished with you!).
