This is a message from Lucy and Olivia, and we are responsible for water.  We were very pleased to raise nearly £400 for our push taps and Mr Hewer said he’d put some money towards the cost as we had done so well.  However when the plumber came out on Thursday to look at what types of taps we would need – we found out that we had low water pressure.  So we are having one tap in as a trial run.  The thing is, we need a steady water pressure for the taps to turn off.   The plumber did however comment on the fact that urinal flushes in the boys toilets go 24 hours a day, every day of the week, throughout the school year and has urgently recommended that we get some censors fitted which will reduce our water usage dramatically.  This means that they will work when the boys use the toilet and it won’t flush as often through the night, weekends and school holidays.  Thank you for all the donations, and we will keep you up to date!
